Boxing for fitness is so popular and it should be
Now more than ever, people are realizing the benefits of boxing training. As an amateur boxer who has trained in gyms for many years I have always favored it over any type of training.
I’m training more and more women who want to learn boxing and love hitting the pads, It’s a skill people enjoy learning, and a form of exercise that pushes you to your limits, gets you extremely fit, and works every muscle in your body!
You only need to look at professional and amateur boxers to realize they are some of the fittest athletes in the world. There are so many areas of the sport to learn, with many varied and different workouts that keep it fun. Boxing builds confidence, discipline and also self-defense skills, if needed.
I think everyone should try boxing training, not to fight, but for the physical and mental benefits. No other training gives you the feeling you get from a good boxing or pad work session.
